Our annual Back To School event is coming up on August 20th. Each registered foster child will receive a backpack filled with age appropriate school supplies.

Join us in the Kitsap Great Give!
KFCA is participating in the Kitsap Great Give! This is a great opportunity to make your dollars work even harder when you donate to KFCA.
On May 6th, go to the Kitsap Great Give! site, and donate, selecting Kitsap Foster Care Association as the recipient. Your dollars will be matched to go even farther toward helping foster youth in the county.

Dinner begins at 6pm
Childcare is provided.
Cost is $4 per adult, kids 18 and under OF MEMBERS are free
If not a member, $2 per child over age 3.
Membership is not required to attend the meetings, but there are benefits for members throughout the year and the dues are only $30 per family for the year.
The clothing closet will open for foster parents who need clothing for their children.
Clothing donations are accepted.

We Are Family Day at the Mariners!
The game is Sunday April 27th at 1pm.
We will have a bus to take you there from Mullenix Park and Ride.
We will provide tickets for your family if you are a member of KFCA.
Otherwise, we will provide tickets for the foster kids in your house.

Annual Holiday Party 2013
Come join us for this years annual Holiday Party. Santa Claus will join us for an afternoon of fun to celebrate the season.
All registered kids will get a present from Santa.

Provider One – Medicaid
On May 7, DSHS will begin using a new system to manage Medicaid services called ProviderOne. Children will be issued a plastic ID card that will be electronically recharged each month. These new plastic cards will be issued one time and will need to move with children when they change placements.
