FREE Tickets for Pirates of Penzance at the 5th Avenue
The 5th Avenue Theatre has made available to us a limited number of tickets to a special performance of Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance on Thursday, July 18 at 8:00pm.

5th Avenue has made these tickets available to organizations that serve kids that are underprivileged kids or would otherwise not have a chance to see a live professional performance of a great family musical. We are happy to offer them to our foster care, relative care placement, guardianship and adoptive families of foster kids.

This might also be a great chance to reconnect with a special child you’ve helped reunited with her birth family!

Because the tickets are limited and the response to these offers is always so strong, this time we are limiting the number of tickets to 5 per family, and first come, first served.

Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance is one of my favorites. It’s a comic opera suitable for the whole family. The story and the songs are hilarious. After the first time I saw it I was humming "I am a pirate king!" for days.

YOUNG CHILDREN: In compliance with 5th Avenue policy, each ticket recipient should be no younger than age 4. No “babes in arms” will be permitted.

The theater is located at: 1308 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101

For more information about the production, check out their website: https://www.5thavenue.org/show/the-pirates-of-penzance

Thank you Fifth Avenue Theater for this opportunity!

And thank you for your care of our children.

Pacific Northwest Caregivers Conference 2014

Hello everyone, Mike Canfield here from FPAWS . I hope I am finding you well. We have changed the dates for the 2014 Pacific Northwest Caregivers Conference at Great Wolf Lodge to May 17th and 18th with our room blocks on the 16th and 17th. Great Wolf is a great place to have a family friendly conference. While one or both parents are getting training the rest of the family can get exhausted at the indoor water park. We expect a big crowd. Please contact Great Wolf soon to book your rooms, our Group code is 1305 FPAWS. Rooms hold 6 people. We can only get 120 rooms each night at $129.00 plus tax and fees, (about another $28). We will not have Night of 1000 Dreams, our annual fund raiser, attached to this conference. We are still looking for a date and location for Night of 1000 Dreams. Our conference committee is working very hard to make this another terrific Pacific Northwest Caregivers Conference. Beth, I and our wonderful FPAWS Board look forward to seeing you there next May. We will have our classes and registration set up after the first of the year, so visit us at www.fpaws.org or on facebook to stay updated. Please forward this email and talk to your caregiving friends as we want everyone to have a chance to plan for this event. See you there, Mike
