I was really really hoping we could have a big ole party in person like the old days BUT we couldn’t find a venue and arrange all the details. We still want to appreciate you, so we will have a drive through event one last time!We will have ballots to vote on officers and standing rules so you can approve them on your way through.

It’s the most wonderful time….of the year….Time to register for holiday gifts! We will provide gifts to all kids in the house, regardless of legal status, as long as you are a licensed foster home with a current placement in Kitsap or you have Kitsap kids placed with you. This event is also open for kinship and suitable other placements. Kids 10 and up may receive a gift card OR a gift based on your suggestions.

Please mark your calendar to ensure pick up on Dec 10th between 1pm and 2:30pm at Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard. We can’t guarantee gifts will be available after Dec 10th. Thank you for respecting the time and effort that our volunteers put in to make this program successful.

If you registered for gifts last year and did not pick up, you are not eligible to register this year.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that GHOST TRAIN IS BACK! (…and better than ever, but only with your help!)

Kitsap Foster Care Association is seeking local Kitsap community businesses and organizations to sponsor a Trick-or-Treating booth at our largest annual fundraiser on October 29, 2022. We are also seeking community groups and organizations who would like to volunteer to set up a spooky scene in the forest to entertain all of the Ghost Train Riders.

The most recent Ghost Train (in 2019) sold out over 1600 tickets to ride the train and welcomed over 2000 people through the park to the trick or treating booths. This is a fantastic opportunity to create visibility for your business or organization while also showing your support of Kitsap foster kids.

COVID GUIDELINES: We will ask you to stay in your car and we will bring your gifts out to you. They will be unwrapped. We will gather gifts based on the interests you list for your kids, but cannot guarantee any specific items requested. Kids 10 and Up will receive a gift card OR a gift based on your preferences on the form and our inventory. Please pick up gifts during the designated time or make other arrangements. We cannot ensure that gifts will be available after this event.

This form will accept information for up to 4 children. If you have more than 4 kids in your home, please fill out a second form. This is open to licensed Kitsap families and families outside of Kitsap who have children from Kitsap placed with them. Please fill out a 2nd form if you have more than 4 children in your home. We will provide gifts for all the children in your foster home, regardless of legal status, as long as you are a licensed foster family. We purchase or seek donations based on registrations, so please pick up the gifts that you register for.
